Last weekend, I had a great opportunity to meet Luangphor (father) Thong-In, who the people know of this country as an Arahat Father, a great grandfather in Thailand and living in Vanuasi. Although he is often honoured by the king of this country, he lives a very humble and simple life. I was also very impressed.

In any temple in Thailand, I did not see wide chairs, high couches, thrones, etc. I was instructed that my mind was pure and that it would be completely cleansed soon. It was learned from the villagers that he is a very talented person. It is a great blessing to grow Dhamma in these Sanghas’ companies even for a while.

තායිලන්තයේ මහා තෙරණුවන් නමක් වන එලෙසම දැනට වනවාසිව වැඩ වසන අරහත් පිය නමක් ලෙසට මෙම රට වැසියන් හඳුන්වන luangphor (father) Thong-In මුණගැසීමේ මහඟු අවස්ථාවක් සහ ටික වේලාවක පිළිසඳරේ යෙදීමටත් ගිය සති අන්තයේදී ලැබිණි . මෙතුමා මෙරට රජාණන් විසින් නිතර ගවුර්වව පුදනු ලැබුවත් ඉතාමත් නිහතමානීව සහ සරලව ජීවිතය ගෙනයන හිමි නමකි . මටත් මහත් පැහැදීමක් ඇතිවිනි.

තායිලන්තයේ කිසිම පන්සලක විසාල පුටු, උච්චා සයන මහා සයන, සිංහාසනා වැනි ධර්මාසන දුටුවේද නැත. මගෙ චිත්තය පිරිසිදු බවත් ඉක්මනින්ම එය සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම පිරිසිදු කර ගන්නා ලෙසටත් උපදෙස් ලැබුණි. මෙතුමා ඉරිදියෙන් වැඩිමෙ හැකියාව ඇති හිමි නමක යයි ගම්මුන්ගෙන් දැනගන්නට ලැබුණි. ටික කලක් වුවත් මෙම සංඝයා වහන්සේලා ඇසුරෙහි දහම් වැඩීමට ලැබීම මහත් පුණය භාගයකි.
